Eco Lifestyle's Return Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you're not completely satisfied, you may return the item, subject to the conditions below. This policy applies to purchases made directly from Eco Lifestyle. It does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws in South Africa, the European Union, or the United States.

1. Return Window

You have 14 days from the date of purchase to initiate a return. To be eligible:

  • Items must be unused and in original packaging

  • Items must include all tags and proof of purchase

  • Products must not be damaged, mishandled, or altered

Returns must be requested by emailing info@eco-lifestyle.co.za with photos and order details.

2. Return Fees

  • 15% return fee will be deducted from your refund or store credit to cover handling and processing.

  • This fee does not apply to defective or damaged items reported within 14 days of purchase.

3. Exchanges and Store Credit

  • We do not offer cash refunds unless required by law.

  • You may request an exchange or store credit.

  • If your preferred replacement is out of stock, you may:

    • Choose an alternative product and pay the difference, or

    • We’ll cover the difference if the alternative is priced lower

4. Items Not Eligible for Return

  • Items marked as final sale

  • Used products or those not in their original packaging

  • Personal care or hygiene items (if applicable)

  • Items purchased from third-party platforms (see Section 8)

5. Damaged or Defective Products

  • Report any manufacturing defects (e.g. broken lock) within 14 days

  • We’ll offer a replacement, or if unavailable, store credit

  • Airline or airport damage is not our responsibility claims must be made with the airline

  • Our luggage must not exceed 23kg per airline's weight limit

  • We recommend that customers wrap their luggage when flying

6. Standard Warranty Disclaimer

Eco Lifestyle does not offer product guarantees or warranties. Products are sold “as is,” and by placing an order, you acknowledge and accept our Terms & Conditions.

7. EU Residents – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order ships to the European Union, you may return any unused item within 14 days of delivery without needing to provide a reason. Items must be in resalable condition, complete with all original packaging, tags, and proof of purchase.

8. Partner Site Purchases

For orders placed on platforms like:

Amazon, Takealot, Makro, Hyperli, HiFi Corp, OneDayOnly, BobShop, Incredible Connection, Leroy Merlin

Please get in touch with their customer support and follow their terms and return processes, as we are not liable for these purchases.

10. Refunds Timeline

If your return is approved, we’ll process your refund or issue store credit. Refunds to the original payment method typically take 7–10 business days to process. If your refund has not arrived within 15 business days, contact info@eco-lifestyle.co.za.
